The 86-kilometre ski resort of Le Grand Bornand lies in Bornes Aravis. A large part of the ski runs are located on the slopes of Mont Lachat. From the resort, you can either take the La Joyère or Le Rosay cable car up into the ski resort. The region around Le Grand Bornand is also known for its numerous cross-country ski trails and biathlon courses. So if you are looking for a winter sports experience away from the slopes, then Le Grand Bornand is the place for you.

By the way: If you head from Village in the direction of Bouchet Valley, there are 70.5 kilometres of cross-country ski trails to explore. Classic or skating: You’re sure to find numerous tempting sections for you along the route.
