Courchevel: The luxury skiing experience

First-class equipment for first-class ski holidays

If you spend your winter holidays in Courchevel, you’re in for a first-class skiing experience. And that’s not just because of the resort’s outstanding slopes and scenery, but because Courchevel is THE luxury resort of the Alps. With the biggest concentration of 5-star hotels outside Paris, the glittering ski resort attracts celebrities ranging from members of royal families to the likes of Beyonce or the Beckhams.

However, Courchevel also holds great appeal for “ordinary” skiers, families and beginners. Located in the Savoie Alps, the resort lies at one extreme of the famousTrois Vallées”. In total, the “Three Valleys” boast more than 600 kilometres of slopes, making up the world’s largest interconnected ski area together with Val Thorens, La Tania, Les Menuires and Méribel.

Courchevel encompasses the four ski villages of Courchevel 1300 (La Praz), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1850. All of them enjoy reliable snow due to the ski resort’s favourable northerly orientation and altitude.
