Go from 120 to 600 – kilometres of slopes! From Les Gets, you can access the cross-country ski area of Portes du Soleil and ski all the way to Switzerland.
However, there’s plenty to see and do in Les Gets itself. For instance, Mont Chéry is the perfect mountain for advanced skiers, with splendid powder runs, plenty of red and black slopes and a snow park. From the top, you can even see Mont Blanc on clear days. The highlight for cross-country skiers: the 18-kilometre high-altitude cross-country skiing trail at Mont Chéry.
Families and leisure skiers particularly love Les Chavannes. And rightly so! After all, it not only boasts a “Wild West” children’s area with a thrilling American-Indian-themed trail. It also features the “Espace Mappy” beginner’s area with magic carpets and children’s lifts and plenty of easy slopes for relaxed leisure skiing.
... you’re planning to spend your family ski holiday in France.
… you’re a snowboard rookie and would like to hone your skills in Les Gets.
… you’re not into riotous après-ski parties.
… you’re looking for a quiet holiday resort with plenty of winter sports opportunities.

The ski resort of Les Gets has one big advantage: It encompasses two ski mountains, one to the left of the village and one to the right. If you would like to follow the sun, simply head to Mont Chéry in the mornings and to Les Chavannes in the afternoons. Skiing and snowboarding with all day sunshine? No problem – there are sunny days ahead for you on your ski holiday in France!
