We ski regularly, and regularly hire skis in Intersport hire locations in France and Italy. The overall service in Zermatten Sports was very good. The only slight disappointment were the quality of skis in the highest 'Ski Exclusive' category which we paid for. I think they should have been higher quality / more premium ski brands and or models. The skis were not as good as in equivalent 'premium categories' we have hired from Intersport in France and Italy recently, yet the hire cost for the ski exclusive category was significantly more than we have paid for in both France (3 Vallees) and Italy (Cervinia). The skis were well prepared but I do think you should consider what you are providing in that category compared to Intersport locations in other countries which have more higher quality choice!

As a retired racer and 36 yr ski industry employee, the Ski Exclusive models did not meet my expectations. They were adequate for getting down the mountain but not as good as I’ve gotten at other shops. I did enjoy the convenience of leaving the equipment overnight.
