The French municipality of Brianҫon in the Hautes-Alpes department is located on the western edge of the Cottian Alps. The village and the ski resort of the same name are part of an extensive ski area: Serre Chevalier Vallée – Brianҫon. Other ski resorts that are part of Serre Chevalier Vallée are Chantemerle, Villeneuve-la-Salle and Le Monêtier-les-Bains.

The merger of the four ski resorts has created a skier’s paradise consisting of 250 kilometres of ski runs and 55 lifts. Excellent slope conditions are waiting for you on the snow-sure eastern slopes – perfect for all kinds of winter sports plans.

At Brianҫon ski resort alone, you can explore more than 136 kilometres of ski runs. The entire ski area comprising the villages of Chantemerle, Villeneuve-la-Salle and Le Monêtier-les-Bains offers you 250 kilometres of ski runs to choose from. Many of the winter sports slopes at Brianҫon ski resort are located on the eastern side of the mountain, guaranteeing you snow-covered slopes throughout the winter season!

Brianҫon shows itself from its particularly cool side when you set out to discover its numerous freeride routes. Either on your own or on a guided tour, you will experience the ski resort from a completely new perspective. The touring season in Brianҫon lasts from mid-December to mid-April – and if you want to improve your skills, you can take ski or snowboard lessons.

Good to know: A local shuttle service takes you from your accommodation in Brianҫon to the starting point of your ski tour, so you can leave your car parked at home!

Around Brianҫon and in the surrounding municipalities, there are 45 kilometres of cross-country ski trails and an official biathlon course. So bringing your cross-country skis is definitely worth it!
