There was only one employee at the rental shop, and the line was too long. That said, the lone employee was very capable and hardworking, though clearly overworked. The same was true when returning the rented equipment.

My bindings were set too large for my boots. My skis came off on my first turn. Unbelievable incompetence by the shop that could have resulted in me having a serious accident. This would not have happened if my ski boot had been used to set the bindings instead of using an electronic measurement.
