We know: If you head up the mountain with equipment from INTERSPORT Rent, you’re already a winner. But if you’re up for the #rentyourmoment challenge, you can enter to win a fantastic prize! What that is, and how to participate? Read on to find out!

But first things first …

The closing date is 28 March 2022 at 12:00 noon CET. 

You must be aged 18 years or older as of the date of entry. Employees of INTERSPORT Rent and the participating cooperation partners are excluded from participation.

The competition is organised by IIC-INTERSPORT International Corporation GmbH, Wölflistrasse 2
CH-3006 Bern, Switzerland (hereinafter "IIC"). Participation in the competition is exclusively subject to the terms and conditions set out here. By entering the competition, you expressly accept these terms and conditions. 

Eligibility

1. All persons over the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Employees of INTERSPORT and INTERSPORT Rent are excluded from participation.
2. Participation in the competition is possible throughout the entire competition period. The competition starts on 20 January 2022 and ends on 28 March 2022 at 12:00 noon CET. Every participant who follows the INTERSPORT Rent Global Instagram account (@intersportrent_global) and posts a photo in his/her feed with the hashtag #rentyourmoment including a location tag (location e.g. ski area, holiday destination, etc.) will be entered in the competition. Three winners will be selected by IIC within 72 hours of the end of the competition. Participation in the competition is free of charge. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. 
3. Participation in the competition takes place via the INTERSPORT Rent Global Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/intersportrent_global (hereinafter referred to as "IIC Instagram"). The competition is available there for the above-mentioned period.
4. Any person wishing to enter the competition must follow the IIC Instagram account, like the competition post and upload a photo in their feed with the hashtag #rentyourmoment including a location tag (location e.g. ski area, holiday destination, etc.).

Prize

Three vouchers (one for each winner) worth 500 euros – redeemable at INTERSPORT retailers in Austria, Switzerland and France. One voucher will be raffled off for each country, which can therefore only be redeemed in the country of issue.

The vouchers can only be redeemed in-store at the following retailers:

•    In Switzerland and France, the vouchers are redeemable at all INTERSPORT shops.

Winner selection and notification

1. The three winners will be determined within 24 hours of the end of the competition.
2. Winners will be chosen at random per country (location tag).
3. Winners will be notified by IIC via Instagram direct message within 72 hours of the competition closing. They must respond to IIC’s message within 7 days, otherwise the prize will be awarded to another randomly selected prize draw entrant.
4. Once the prize draw has been completed, settlement will be by direct contact between the winner and IIC only.
5. Winners agree that IIC may use their names and screenshots for promotional purposes. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current European data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
6. The claim to the prize cannot be assigned, sold or otherwise transferred to any other person. The prize can neither be redeemed for cash nor substituted for an alternative. All potential taxes and fees associated with the winner’s receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

Data protection and privacy

IIC is the controller under applicable data protection law for the collection, use and processing of participant’s personal data. The participant’s personal data will be collected and processed exclusively for purposes of participation in the competition, conduct of the competition and distribution of the prizes. 

Applicable data protection provisions will be met.

IIC will only forward personal data to its agency punkt & komma GmbH commissioned to conduct the competition (“contract data processor”) which is based in Salzburg, Austria.

The contract data processor collects processes and uses personal data only for and in accordance with IIC’s instructions.

During the competition IIC will only collect the Instagram usernames of the participants. Only the winner will have to provide the following additional data for the distribution of the prize: first and last name, date of birth, e-mail address, address, and telephone number. After termination of the competition all personal data will be deleted.

IIC will keep the personal data of the selected winner to itself and will not share with any other third party to manage prize fulfilment. 

Each participant in the competition has the right to information without charge regarding the personal data stored about them by IIC as well as to correction, blocking or deletion of such personal data. To assert the above rights the participant may contact IIC at the following address:

Disclaimer

INTERSPORT reserves the right, in its own discretion and without prior notice, to terminate, interrupt or modify the promotion and / or to change the conditions and / or the prices, if circumstances so require, without any means to compensation for damages to participants. INTERSPORT is not liable for any damage resulting from participation in the promotion or damage resulting from the use of the prizes.

Miscellaneous

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Swiss law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bern, Switzerland.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered.
