Slovenia: manageability instead of magnitude

Where ski holidays and city trips complement each other perfectly

Those who come to Slovenia to go skiing can look forward to a variety of small and family-friendly ski resorts. The slopes are mostly quiet, the prices relatively cheap and the atmosphere is pleasant and cosy. The small Central European country offers a total of 270 kilometres of ski runs.

Another advantage? Between the cities and the ski resorts, there are usually only short distances. Whether you prefer Ljubljana or Maribor, winter sports adventures in Slovenia combine exceptionally well with shopping and sightseeing. Snow sports enthusiasts who can't get enough of skiing can discover several ski resorts in one day.

Did you know? Most ski instructors in Slovenia have excellent foreign language skills. That's yet another good reason why the country's beginner-friendly ski resorts are perfect for learning how to ski or snowboard.

Tip: Test the latest skis and snowboards from renowned manufacturers on the Slovenian slopes! At INTERSPORT Rent, you will get brand-new winter sports equipment along with expert tips from our RENTertainers.
